Provo Canyon School and the Academy at Canyon Creek, nationally recognized leaders in providing quality residential treatment services to adolescents, are seeking a talented Director of Business Development.

Provo Canyon School is a 250 - bed adolescent residential treatment program. Located 45 minutes South of Salt Lake City, Utah, with separate campuses in Provo (boys) and Orem (girls). Provo Canyon School has been treating students and working with families for over 36 years. The Academy at Canyon Creek is a new clinical boarding school located in nearby Springville, Utah, providing a co-ed residential living environment. The Early Adolescent Program has been a distinct program successfully treating boys ages 11 - 14 since 1993. The Early Adolescent Program is located on the campus of Academy at Canyon Creek.

The position will manage and motivate a team of 6 national representatives. Required to maintain and generate professional ontracts and referral development. Responsible for marketing communication, including collateral, announcements, brochures and internet management. Generates reports and data review for strategic planning as a member of the Senior Management Team reporting to the COO. Provide customer service satisfaction and ethical representation for both Provo Canyon School and The Academy at Canyon Creek.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in similar setting.
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a Health Care related field required, Masters degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of Behavioral Health industry required, substance abuse terminology preferred.
  • Experience with State, Federal, and Managed Care Organization's contracting.
  • Proven executive administrative ability with excellent communication skills.
  • Moderate travel and conference attendance is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills required.
Salary: Determined by Education and Experience

SouthEast Regional Director of Business Development

Provo Canyon School and The Academy at Canyon Creek nationally recognized leaders in providing quality residential treatment services to adolescents are seeking a dynamic SouthEast Regional Director of Business Development.

Provo Canyon School is a 250 - bed adolescent residential treatment program. Located 45 minutes South of Salt Lake City, Utah, with separate campus in Provo (boys) and Orem (girls). Provo Canyon School has been treating students and working with families for over 36 years. The Academy at Canyon Creek is a new clinical boarding school located in nearby Springville, Utah, providing a co-ed residential living environment. The Early Adolescent Program has been a distinct program successfully treating boys ages 11 - 14 since 1993. The Early Adolescent Program is located on the campus of Academy at Canyon Creek.

The position will establish and maintain regional professional relationships resulting in appropriate referrals, consumer satisfaction with ethical representation of both Provo Canyon School and The Academy at Canyon Creek.

Qualifications:
  • Must live within specific region with travel expectations of 10 days a month.
  • Conference attendance is required.
  • Knowledge of the behavioral health industry required.
  • A bachelor degree in business, communications, marketing and/or behavioral health care or related field. Clinical background and/or masters degree a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to operate at a high level of independence and effectiveness.
  • Full-time year-round position with excellent benefits.
  • Previous experience with data base management and PC skills required.

Team Coach

Description
Provo Canyon School is a nationally recognized, 287 - bed, adolescent residential treatment program located in Provo, Utah. With three separate programs and campuses' (girls, boys, and early adolescents), Provo Canyon School has been successfully treating youth and working with families for over 36 years. The Team Coach supervises daily activities of students and insures that basic and expanded needs are met. Team Coaches are also responsible for the safety and supervision of students. They are a member of the treatment team which helps students to reach their highest potential. Team Coaches participate with students in ongoing program activities both inside and outside of the facility, i.e. daily living, skiing, hiking, camping, and other experiential learning activities.

Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age or older, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid Driver's License. Must be able to supervise high risk youth and assure their safety at all times. Must be able to be certified in CPR, first aide, and preparedness training. Must be able to effectively problem solve and re-direct students in a positive manner. Must be self-motivated and able to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision. Must have a positive attitude, be assertive, and able to make sound decisions. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, maturity, and judgment. Must be organized and able to work under stress.
